How to validate the estimate
- Check for leaning or longer gaps between leaves after two to four weeks.
- Move sun-sensitive leaves back if they bleach, crisp, or develop pale patches.
- Prefer a phone lux app or dedicated meter when placing expensive or flowering plants.
Evidence label: This is a practical decision aid based on common indoor-light patterns, not laboratory measurement.
Future experiment updates should replace assumptions with measured lux readings from repeatable room setups.
